  • Now that you know what is entrepreneurship, who is this kind of person and what it takes to be one, let us delve further and talk about a business plan as a bedrock to starting a successful business. Right here we are just briefly looking at main areas of a business plan and what does it mean to an entrepreneur. This is subject to detailed description as we move on. What heck is a business plan? You can simply describe it as a written document that talks about the goals and objectives of a business and lists the steps that will be taken to achieve those goals and objectives or you can say a business plan is a management tool that is used to organize and analyze information. So why need one? For the following reasons, have one.
  • You need a business plan to determine the viability of a business, you also need it to asses your strengths and weakness. A business plan is a tool used to ask for loans supposing you need money. It is also used as a planning and monitoring tool.
Then what are the main contents of a business plan? A business plan comprises of the following major areas, Cover page, table of contents, executive summary, business description,market plan,organization and management, operational and finally appendix. Keep it here as  I look forward to discuss further every facet of  a business plan.
