TEAR HUMANITY: PRETENSE

In addressing pretense as a mischief and attitude in humanity around our various diverse communities, we would like to inform you that it is not new to this life. This particular misdemeanor has been in society for long time now. It has been passed from different generations to exist among us today. If you are a very good reader of your holy book or Quran for that matter, you should know have noticed that even them too, the dwellers of the Bible had this vice in their midst.

A quick reminder could be the case of Laban and Jacob in Genesis chapter thirty down there when Jacob wanted to relocate after serving Laban his uncle for a long time for his wives. Jacob requested for stripped and speckled lambs as his wages for the extra services he rendered to Laban. Laban concurred with the demand, but after a while, what did we see? A malicious and ill habit emerged putting Laban's credibility and integrity in a crisis.

He slyly took the stripped lambs and charged his sons to drive them in a far grazing land. H umanity for that matter has been exposed in the past as always creatures who hold and posses evil thoughts that are ill intended and most of the time veering off from the correct path. God Himself attests to this vice. Therefore know that you are known. Pretense in its natural and ordinary nature is a misplaced act that seeks to cause friction and conflict amongst the concerned parties.

It is a known fact that human beings both present and past harbors bad feelings within themselves. It is in this view that we alert you to consider how you treat your character in the public domain. Small as the word sounds, can put you in a very not so likable affair if you let your selfish nature take toll over you and take steering chair. Take note of some the small but dangerous habits and cast them out of your life. WE believe that people can grow up clean if they choose to hanker and behave in embracing some value adding principles. Notice your character's horns and shed them off today before they grow long to harm . It is life as we told you earlier, that it is not life until it is well lived.

ETHICS & PROFESSIONALISM: CAREER GROWTH

What happens when a leader dirties his/her image in the eyes of the juniors and public domain? How can he/she face them the following day and be treated with the deserved respect? Such is a kind of scenario that we point today on this tip on checking your work ethics and preserving your professional image as a leader of a certain field. We talk about the repercussions of trading your integrity both in your professional and private life. It is a difficult situation for you to bring yourself unto such occasion.


You put your staff and even your friends and family into a compromising manner. They are caged in your habits. SOCIETY: THE PREJUDICED SOJOURNER

Our society feeds us on all four pillars of its circumferences. We hear of things from north. On divergent days or even weeks we also are equipped from south, east and west. Whether disease or strives of intolerance, we are treated to them all. In a bid to bring you forward and keep you up to date with what is entailed and constructs your big umbrella in the name of society, we want to treat you with another man's medicine. This in our otherwise popular word known as treat a person by his own medicine.

 At one point in your lifetime, you have wronged someone and never thought of the pain they went through until a similar act was committed to you by another somewhat cruel person. You felt pain and may be you toyed with the idea of retaliation. But hold on. Here is a tale of a society gone wrong in both stature and reasoning. Hearts are prejudiced and on many occasions malicious with thoughts of destruction. People in society nowadays are natured with devils masking interests.They can't sleep soundly unless the hurt, corrupt, steal and cause exacerbated affliction amongst their fellow brothers and sisters.

Talking of guild today is like opening a can of worms that are charged with spunks and toes of terror. Many are robbed of joy, love and freedom to think freely and make personal decisions. Apart from obscenity that is tendered carelessly to restricted corners, many minds are corrupt and rendered worthless at the table of sobriety. Justice has never been known by others while a super majority are depraved of everyday rights and privileges by destructive cultures that are obsolete and irrelevant in this present times yet are being advocated for by tired heads that don't change with time. Difficult and non- compliant souls are littered every where. Lack of corporations is not new in this society. Dalliance reigns and derails progress evidently. Yet the unperturbed take it as just another thing.

To cut the whole scenario short, life will never cease to treat us with surprises and hurt. All we remind you is to learn how to counter the emotive sickening attributes of this society and shun being principal prey of the weirdness of this society. As for sure, it has lost its dignity and common sense.

AWARENESS: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

On awareness today we are not only talking but at the same time charging you to lead your life into doing righteous and justice. As the head of a department, responsibility is bestowed. Unto you too we are placing accountability under your neck. Before and even now, we equipped you that your life is your responsibility. You are the sole individual who should bear liability for any wrong found within your life. 

Every breathing soul is enabled and placed strategically in a position to make right decisions. We also the divergence in the levels of inadequacies, but that is not to say that humanity is prone to mistakes. You control everything that comes to you. You either lock it off or let it in. On similar ground, we also want to notify you that nothing can take place unless you  allow it to happen. Iniquities don't happen by themselves,they are initiated by people. Mediocrity is championed and entertained by ourselves. Falling to alarming credentials in human standards is caused by ourselves.

You have a choice, strength and enough relevant energy to live within the expected realm of conformity, compliance and submission to rules and laws of the land. Justice and correctness of life is what every human being is supposed to observe. Grow your character tailored towards such principles and learn to avoid controversy and embarrassing ways of life. To grow individually and even wise up and hone your life is a personal initiative that can be successfully be achieved through personal development. RHODRI- RYAN SAGA: WHERE IS COURTESY?

Madness of twenty first century or the great controversies have never ceased to appear in our societies. When it is not within, it's without. Breaking the A,B.C of obvious boundaries is what we tackle today. Brother versus brother are torn apart by stray habits of another who could not keep off his eyes and hands of another's wife. I don't want to imagine who is worse between Rhodri's wife and Ryan Giggs.

He is reported to have extended his maneuvering habits to this fair lady out of arrogance and the selfish hand due to his loaded status. For Ryan Giggs, life is all about money and with it, take as much as your hands can glean even if it means disrespecting your very own blood brother by betraying his trust and love by snatching his wife and taking her to bed not only once but rather for eight years consecutively your conscience not withstanding. It has never happened so shamelessly as that before.

In spite the felony, this blatant rogue Ryan went further to tell off the sisters that he could do just the same to them if he wanted because he has money. The Manchester United player seeks to misinform and misled the society in solemn wrong way. Lack of character and being outright insipid is what he insinuate through such action. Any other person blinded with earthly pleasures and many more persons across this world have never benefited from ill manners. Those who traded their morals have paid dearly and regretted fully.     

Why molest the weak if you have money? Where does this special privilege emanate from? Who equipped to you that you are sacred and that can do anything contrary to the norms? Money is just money and it has its role separate from what many want to imply using vicious vested interests. We highly condemn such ill habits in society inclusive of its perpetrators. We are not interested to know how rotten and morally depraved you are. What we want to know is that society has principles and regulations not forgetting cultures that need to be kept.

Acts of impunity and high handedness should be ceased in equal measures. Every human being deserves dignity and their privacy respected. Money or no money, life is precious and let it be enjoyed by all at their own pleasure with the little they have. Societal values remains with or without money. Abuses of such magnitude need to be countered with relevant justice.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: HONE SKILLLS

The African cup of nations is taking place in both ripples and footwork. Teams are taking on each other with both talent and skill in form of tactics. There is a lot of talent that is hidden in Africa. Boys have honed themselves and they are not laughing with anyone on the pitch. What is of importance here is their ability to look sharp prepared and organized. They have worked and done enough homework on their part to be the best that they are. 


What I admire here is about that personal discipline and the spirit of initiatives. The gem about growing a talent, gift or skill is all about deciding yourself and investing heavily on personal character and discipline. Live your life from the front. don't wait to be tapped to do something. Take yourself to the battle field and fight those unknown giants. 

Everyone has something special embedded in them. These talents that many are sitting on owes to be explored  and be brought to birth. Don't make yours a white elephant. There in lies your solution. Your insecurities and peculiarity have the potential to be tackled to your advantage. Do something . Work on your skill or gift. Hone it through discipline. Believe in your strengths and do it amidst prejudice or criticism. Change of season is coming. You never know what destiny is planning for you. Life too has surprises both negative and positive. Just make sure you live your life as a revised edition. Create highlights of your own sweat. you would be amazed how good you will become.

OFF PARENT'S CHILDREN: INCIVILITY/INDISCIPLINE

One was supposed to be the a guide of another. However, in our modern life, things have changed . Father child and mother child have formed an alliance in the name of insubordination. Jointly they are rocking the society with reloaded traits of indiscipline and chubby empty heads that have lost both focus and sense of direction. They both exhibit character traits of unruliness and finite civilisation. They are shamelessly attacking teachers and causing anxiety amongst these group of professionals which have resulted into some for fear of victimisation have boarded a cheap means of transport to heaven.

Parents have seriously failed in their roles in our society if anything, notoriety is what clusters our current precinct. Discipline that defined lives in the folklore years was buried in the dark and shift of principles happened at a speed of a day break. I don't understand who bewitches others when they go to sleep. It seems that every waking day signs in with awkward manners of an undisclosed origin. Homework is never done these days as parents themselves post heart breaking behaviours that leaves a lot of an unanswerable questions. The spirit of impunity, unruliness , incivility and indiscipline rents the air as if it is a new fashion trend .

Every other parent adopts to these ailing characteristics faster than thinking about the ramifications and the endangering nature that leaves on society and the growing children within. Children need direction and superb tendering that can make them valuable people in future. The kind of upbringings we have today is shaky, wanting and for lack of a better word, immoral. We cannot grow a generation on spoiled principles and drooled nauseating values.   Stakeholders of this society need to rise up to the challenge and bolster their techniques.

We can't say proudly that we are living. We are kidding around and only culminating problems that will turn to haunt us and derail future development and proper alignment of community. We understand that there is moral breakdown in this society but we cannot allow ourselves to go to that extend. It is highly regrettable and unless something is done fast, we can easily live from our kneels.


P.S: Whatever the turbulence of life, we advocate for level headedness and observation of rules and regulations in our divergent spheres of living. Don't shift good habits for weak values that tears the real reason as to why you're alive. seek to be the best person in every new day. For us here, it is not life until it is well lived.

Living With Your Conscience 

You don’t have to be in your 70s or 80s to have witnessed a fall in society’s moral standards. Even many of today’s youngsters have seen things that were once unacceptable become par for the course in modern society. Just because “everyone’s doing it,” though, doesn’t necessarily make something right, nor does it make it something that everyone could live with.

Years ago, if someone found some money lying in the street, the chances are that they would pick it up and take it to the nearest police station so that it could be claimed by its rightful owner. Today, most would slip it into their pockets and keep on walking, and few would blame them. However, if the fact that the money might have been a pensioner’s entire food budget for the week or a single mother’s rent money for the month is going to prick your conscience, then where’s the point in following everyone else’s lead?

At the end of the day, each of us has to be able to live with our conscience if we are going to sleep soundly at night, and we all owe it to those over whom we have any influence (such as our children!) to do what’s morally right. What kind of inspiration do you want to be to those around you?

FOR WHO FOR HOW: MISTAKES IN LIFE

Today we want to ask the public where they took their morals too. If it was the stock market that they traded their character, then what was the name and the country that they sold morality to and how much did it cost? All those who suppress the truth for their vested malice interests reaped from their bad choices with a grin and gnash of teeth. Great mistakes of the century have been committed by both men and women from all walks of life globally but still our difficult characters and invidious souls have refused to take lessons and learn from the past.

It is in this society that gross s inhuman acts have been committed, sexual misconducts have occurred , theft of all nature done , impunity watered, the weak stumbled on, and the whole fabric that guarded the soft spot that served to preserve societal values, norms and decorum is highly attacked and torn out. Our contemporary society has witnessed how all those identified and associated with those atrocities falling fast from their glories yet still, we cannot correct the mess until we walk into it again. We cannot get the point when we are told that this is fire until we are burnt that is when people want to listen and acquiesce that it was indeed furore.

Where did this stubbornness come from? Why is society so prone to iniquity at the expense of life? You don't know that you are alive until you make a mistake? For who for how. What is the benefit of leaving the truth for a lie? Where is the genuineness and integrity of our current society together with its sojourners? Do we want to agree that we all bought the same commodity and cook the same food? Then why is the same mistakes replicated everywhere? If one man misplaced his morals, does that mean everybody else did so? Hey people!, Come back to the chords of sanity. We once had conformity and respect for the rules and regulations that guided man.

CONCSIOUSNESS: The Bible

It has been with us for so many years. It is indeed the world's oldest book. Two thousands years to be precise is not a joke. There is no humanity that can claim comparison and competence that we get from this holy book. What it carries beats intelligence of so many authors in the city. It preserves the world's best wisdom and wealth. It holds the best source of information, philosophies, objectiveness and right caliber of how things should be done yet it si the least read and the number one book that is fervently marginalized in our society today.


Despite its availability world wide, it means very little to most people in this life. Someone would rather walk to a magician to determine his/her fate of life other than see the bible as an equal opportunity solution giver. People suffer so much yet they seat on their destiny answers around their house. People are in a quest to please God but they have poor understanding of the same God. They don't find Him as their primary source that is authoritative enough to sort their messes.


I'm amazed by the ignorance that thrives in this life vis a vis the posh nature of the bible including its indispensable potential to inform, teach, enrich and guide humanity to the right path. Open the windows and the gates of your life and the right credible consciousness through your bible. Read your bible for your own good. Choose first hand as opposed to listening it from someone  else. It is a world of free will where choices define people's lives. you want to go to the roght fine. Thinking of left? okay. But remember that it is your responsibility to direct your own life into making right choices.

TRUE/FALSE: ABSTAINANCE

It is one of those subjects that has been a centre of many talk shows in and without. Both young and old have taken this matter yet very little is squeezed out of this topic. Abstainance whether myth or reality is here to with us. Despite so many reasons given as to why it is impossible to establish and maintain, I would not want to be drawn by the  feelings of  masses but rather look at it with its weight and facts.

Initially, that is in the customary world of traditions , society was guided by certain principles that helped dwellers coexist within a form of law and order. Even today, nothing has changed in terms of law and order. society stil is expected to observe values and norms that nurture people into responsible members of life. Change of time has occurred and brought about more insight and illumination on matters that in the past were only traded among the few qualified heads of elders.  We have a rule of law in every civilised society.

On another view, I also wnat to observe that human beings are not animals. More than any other creature, man is highly distinguished from other creations by virture of their thinking capacity and consciousnesss. Other notable consideration here is about the feelings that humanity have. You must know that feelings are not a subject of involuntary seismic. Every occurrance of a thought has a controlled ambience in an optimum parameter. To tell me that you are human and blood is running in your veins is an insult to human dignity.

Human being was given a head to think and to help him differentiate between a wrong and a right. To undermine such privilege and instead blame it for our selfish interests is a wrong notion that young members of this society are trying to embrace. Allowing your feelings to dictate your actions is a plain childish practice that should be left to incapacitated world to champion. The fact still remains now and forever that sex has conditions that have to be fulfilled before it is partaken. If for sure you know that in one way or another you are not within the definition, it is prudent of you to steer away and respect the institution. You cannot use a misplaced philosophy to justify a mistake. We need to style up as a society and choose to honour and respect the giver of life. Your life has more meaning other than dedicating it to demeanour.  

CAREER GROWTH: STAGNANCY

Someone is in private sector or even in public sector and one day decides and leaves formal employment and settles in his/her panache. So you champion a start of an economic wave length that suits your skills, talents, gifts and competences. You think you are ready to go and it is just a matter of time and your wings will grow. After one has achieved such credentials of establishing a venture, they are normally proud of themselves and fully excited. I don't know at whaat angle do these smart individuals loose focus and hit a gridrock thereby subjecting their career to remain in infancy for too long. 


A decade has elapsed since a business was started yet there is a very little difference compared to where you started. So while in this kind of dilemma, what should be the way forward? A vey classic advice at this juncture is for one to retrace the paths that he/she used and note common mistakes that were committed along the way. Identify them and match them with relevant solutions. If you are the director, don't assume you know better. Take the humility path and seek information.


Restore your initial focus and stop engaging in unethical habits. Choose the professional angle if previously you were a common person. Admit mistakes and change where possible. Only integrity and honesty are rehabilitative traits spurs success. Nurture your own career. Don't forget too early what propelled you upwards. Reinvent with time. What you know is old. CONCERN: // SANE/INSANE

A strange wind is blowing, but what I fail to establish is exactly what direction this wind is coming from. One wave suggests that the earth comes to an end this year. Before we come to terms with what we have just heard, a second wind blows around again and this too with same message with different timing. It states that world business comes to a close down in the next four years. Did you hear me? Twenty sixteen I'm told you should be wrapping up whatever is in your possession and prepare yourself for departure. I am not sure where you would be going when the world ends because the authoritative voice that I believe in has never given specific dates and years. Agencies and individuals alike who are behind these queasy and embarrassing prophecies lack credibility from critical cornes of this life.  

Something that comes fast from such kind of revelation is about the nature of materials that are considered sources not withstanding. Books in the past have served as the most revered pastime, their insight not to be underestimated. Tradition was passed on and even in our current times, more than ever, more value has been placed on books and they are highly appreciated by both yound and old. Whereas cases of misinterpretation, confusion and poor understanding have been reported before, change of time has proved improvement as more people have become literate and embraced knowledge. Questions of misinterpretation and confusion though is a matter of discussion as well as public interest. Considering the bad reading cultures and poor analyzation too contribute to conjecture and mix up.  We should not forget about destructive literature in our markets as well. Despite all those views, books have a place in this society and they ought not to be taken lightly. Their roles is as varied as the writers themselves. Every other author has a specific void that is assigned under his or her pen to fill. As we respect the diversity in this industry, don't you forget that there is a caveat emptor out there to serve as a warning to all readers.

It seems that our contemporary prophets lack relevant insight as many failures have unfolded in front of our very own eyes thereby casting a spell on the credibility of the voices behind rapture. To me, it looks as if the very same seers as they think themselves to be are victims of maligned judgement thereby resulting into confusion and outright ambrassment if Harold Camping saga is anything to go by. I find the bbible to be too clear to be misunderstood. All you  that someone need to employ in his/her reading the bible is poetry skills. Be a good listener, keen and appraise your analytic strengths when breaking down the content.

Take in beat by beat. Using that kind of method enable one to learn more and understand better. Should I call them charlatans or intellectual delinquents? Whatever comes first or feels save to you is okay, the issue here is that, they should spare us the humiliation and more so stop subjecting a regal book as the bible into controversy and contempt. The bible was not intended to be a center of any feigned limitation. Its content is fragrant and if any one lacks specific skills of interpreting  the bible, be reminded that now than ever, churches are found in almost every corner of this world . Whatever you hear might not necessarily be right. Try justification before you believe. False winds are blowing up every day and I would rather that you embrace discreet and level headedness.  

MORALLY LAME?

Kenya voted and fought at the same time in the years of two thousand and seven and eight. Individuals turned against each other and fought brutally with both arm and teeth. Blood and injuries rendered the air and within a veruy short time, we could not define the meaning of peace. Brotherhood of many years was broken down and swiftly deterred and people turned into instant animals and murdered shamelessly because of few words of dischord that was watered by devils at heart. A countable number of political class caused thousands to disagree and fight tirelessly without knowing exactly  a clear reason why they had to do so. As we choose to forget that dark moment that left scars on the lives of many innocent Kenyans especially children, let kenya together with its citizenry learn from the past mistakes and seek to seal the lopholes. Next week will be a week of anxiety for both the suspects and nation at large. The internally displaced will be looking forward for someone to take liability of the crimes committed. Both on international and local level, all are awaiting for justice to be administered. Pains and strained hearts will be calmed down when we all see some form of law being applied and aforementioned wrongs gets treated with requisite level of justice.

 From where I am blogging, scars of the skirmishes are very evident.  It will be therefore be very important that crimes that brought about such wounds be meted with relevant sense of law. Many are waiting and me too I'm waiting to see justice in the city. The most critical lessons however for all us therefore is to put down and never dare ever to forget is about our morally lame nature  that triggered the violence. Human beings are not chicken to be slaughtered. Peace of mind, dignity and respect is all traits that almost everyone would like one day to be extended to them as courtesy. Place value on the head of every living being and let not innocent blood be shed on the ground be it in Kenya or any other country around this globe.  Peace to you all.  

REALINESS: OF VIOLENCE & INJUSTICES IN SOCIETY

It seems that society has turned against its brother and sisters resulting into a violent and injustice life. Almost every other person is hurting. Labor offices are packed, courts as well as police stations have never closed doors. The number of the aggrieved swells up very fast as opposed to culprits who have worn devils mask and gone further to torment, humiliate the weak and stepped on toes of those whom they think don't fit in this life to enjoy their peace of mind. Some are big headed and feels lofty even to the laws of land. They abuse, dump and walk away as if nothing happened. Employers misuse their employees thinking that free service is their rights. Democracy exists yet there are shameless people within the society who seeks to curtail and place curfews on the freedom of others. Dignity is placed highly on a life of a person yet we have heartless men around who throws decency and respect to the wind and deal violently with children with sexual abuses, obscenity and cruelty that is unwarranted. It is in the wake of these kind of realities that we decry the level of insecurity within our communities. The level of trust and discipline has sunk deeply and exposed the nakedness of society in terms of its integrity and decorum. Many people carry around empty heads that thinks about evil than good. Vices seems to dominate largely in life at the expense of justice. Little value is assigned a breath of man this days. Whoever stole sobriety in this society and gave us insanity remains a riddle that seeks the cerebral of a wise man.

MORALS ON HINDSIGHT: A CLASS -SIX QUESTION SPRINGS A LESSON

The mere aspect of looking at the issue at hand is both a subject of conflict of interest and yet has a chief lesson on character and personal values. Just the other day I was taking a matatu back home in the evening when it all happened. I was in the car, I think on the second row from front. The tout was collecting fare as usual. I don't understand what happened because he did not take my money. So this question that I once attempted while in primary school popped up.

The question we were asked during those days was like this: Supposing you went to a shop to buy an item, and accidentally they shopkeeper gave you extra change, what will you do as a Christian? Of course there were multiple choices of all nature to choose from. That was the mere incident I was to deal with  on Thursday. I call mere because it sounds so. But thinking of it, it has more than meet there eyes. The moral lesson behind the occurrence is more weighter than you can imagine.

In life basically, it is this small situations that really tell who a person is like. Many can brush it off and say it is nothing yet it is something.  Today is all about the forgotten traits. If you want the right answer to the question, the answer is, take back the extra change and take only what was supposed to be yours. In a car situation, remind the tout that he did not take your fare and pay up.

I therefore want to remind you to be sensitive about all the small things that are prone to be forgotten or taken lightly. Your character is found in things you take for granted. You may think of things you say especially to children as nothing while they have a long way to go. A common word in the air is stupid or even shouting. Correct a mistake using a polite way if you want the child to learn the consequences of a wrong . Don't instill fear but rather a lesson to sprout later when you will not be near to speak.

Giving back the money suggests that you respect yourself and your dignity. On an honest note, why will you want free money? Because it came by easily? Excuse me, don't capitalize on the ignorance of another or take advantage of his/her weakness/ confusion or even still tiredness. You know they will make a loss at the long run. It couldn't be better if the matter were on your case. Just like you wouldn't be happy or hate the situation, don't let them go through the mess. Save the boat before it capsizes. Your action can cause a close down of a business thereby resulting into lack of service for so many other customers. You can't afford to be selfish.

Have feeling and be concerned about your neighbor. It wasn't a deliberate move but just an accident. We are human and often than not we deal with such issues. Defend yourself and measure your level of maturity through such circumstances. Don't allow compromise and pettiness crop your territory. Control your own life not issues around you. Be the head not your feelings. As a person, you have the responsibility to take your life into the right direction and also to be rational and always acting in the ambiance of right thinking member of society. Don't subject your life in unjustified ways. Your greatness is measured in your kindness. Keep the lesson for posterity.

LIFE IN CHECK: BUZZ WORD

Where are you located? Do you hear what I am hearing? Okay, take it easy. On buzz word I talk about something inspiring, interesting and impactive. I got an opportunity to listen in to a coach from my insider advisers and I heard something. This thing is called the American dream lifestyle. In this philosophy, people have extra ordinary lifestyles that are not only impactive, but also life changing. People have chosen to look out side their comfort zone and attract untapped exponentials.

Under this category, individuals have refused mundane and routine ways of living. In American dream lifestyles, people take control of their own lives. They write their own rules and live their lives on their own terms. Sporadic economics exist, unpredictable climates hover, joining the dots seems impossible, but not to these souls who have chosen to live despite the negative wind. I buy into such thoughts because they drive someone into the world of creativity. It is in this pool that some get elevated while others experience extreme maker over and tap into their purpose of being alive.

One thing I can tell you for free is that, your creation is not a mere fact of chance. It was a result of a well thought off design under competent architectural implementation. You're not just a human being but rather someone with a lucid scripted life. Discover your American dream and start living not existing. The American dream in our context is about your area of specialty. Where is your talent and what are you doing with it? Where is your passion and what are you waiting if you're not living in your life line? Challenge yourself today and find your x factor to jump start you off and propel your success.

Remember you were born for a purpose and it is this purpose that you should live for. Every passing day presents and opportunity for you to find your right path. EDITORIAL/ TALK OF SOCIETY

Of matters society and its language and content, we look at what people in life like talking about and its sprawling nature. We too eavesdrop on society and listen in from their walls. We needed to find out the authenticity, realism and factualness of where debacles come from. On the mouths of people on local front is all about the ills in family. Along the week, we heard someone raise an issue about a husband who is all barbaric, naive, chauvinist, stuck in the past, out of touch with realism and out right stupid. The said man has curfews and misplaced mindset. At this point in time with the kind of economy and shift in climate, the man sees himself as the total commander of everything in the house ranging from what to cook and what the wife to do. She has to wait on him at whatever time he comes in the house before she cooks.

So we ask, when people have a one-sided life that lacks respect for each other, one that breaks the basic rights of another, then what is the point of being a family? Where did someone shop this philosophy from? Why do some men think they are important and take their wives for granted as if they are weak and incapacitated? Why do individuals with their own insecurities, foolishness and ignorance seek to mislead the society?

Today, society is filled with misplaced notions and ideologies that are not only disruptive but also defiling and scandalizing life. There is a lot of ignorance amongst people and little is being done to correct the mischief. People grow up with poor characters and without shame or even looking back and assessing their lives, choose to move to the next level with their exacerbated habits. Due to these kind of behaviors, people never realize their potential thereby living a lame, wanting and unsatisfactory kind of life. When someone lives his/her life below the bar than what is its rightful measure, what do we think we doing? Why can't people in community learn to reason and question why they experience gridlocks around their lives?

Is it that people aren't keen enough to see the mistakes of the past and learn from them? or apathy kills many? Whatever you say, know that your ignorance or knowledge will be measured in the way you live your life. The quality of life you live and expose your first family to portrays the nature of a husband of the house. What we are trying to advocate for here is that don't kill the society with our mediocre thoughts and sick ideas. Humanity was given brain to think and put his ways on the right track. Don't underestimate the role of your head only to paste shame that create fodder for other members in society to laugh at you.

If you think indeed you're mature, then proof it by showing us your modesty not empty souls. Stop giving children this impression of obscenity everywhere. You teach them how to cheat and complain later. You inhibit their maturity and talk of how your son/daughter is too slow or left behind by events in life. My cry goes out to parents. Can you raise your standards of your parenting skills. Don't be an out of oder type of parent and expect to have an ordered generation. Accidentally you can have such kind of miracle but remember it's not an everyday affair. All children are not gifted. thus, play your part and do it well. We are tired of hearing and seeing same things always. Give society a break from limitation and showcasing it as if it falls short of knowledge.

RATINGS; MATTERS HUMANITY & CHARACTER

Society is exuding a lot of smoke thereby digging down on what it feed on. In the recent past, an issue occurred and exposed someone's nakedness in terms of character. The involved, a learned friend and a lady sentinel crossed their feet on a wrong positions right then creating a scene of its own kind in the newness of the year just when the dust of last year was settling. Someone felt so high and a can't touch type. Going through the routine check ups for security reasons was a too much affair for her. She was so important and therefore shouldn't follow the procedure of a common person. Her learned mind was quick to remind her that, not forgetting the norm of lawyers. They are supposed to be subtle and she never fell short of that. When you're a judge of supreme court and more so a deputy to chief Justice of a nation, you are supposed to be known by all and sundry.

Why did the poor guard fail to know that? This borne of contagion created a five star affair being fought on a one star hotel. The deputy justice thought she is a form of deity and thus should be treated different and special. She needed a posh level of respect, something that did not come easily thereby forcing her feelings and piece mind to surge forward in order to make her point. Signs of haughtiness sprinted up   and spoiled everything. Her education and what she thought she new failed the test of modesty. Her real character of disrespect to human showed up and was topped off with non conformity to laws of land as per the constitution. Whereas we condemn such habits in life, we also want to observe that the gift of breath is not human being creation and should therefore be respected. All human deserve to be treated with dignity and at no point should one person seek to act in a way that demeans the presence of another fellow human being. We don't intend to vilify Nancy Baraza but rather oust her poor character in public. Life doesn't know titles as she has come to realize. You don't need a circumstance to humble you down. Your life is your responsibility and one should take charge and grow themselves up to avoid humiliating scenes as what we are witness now in the life of deputy Chief Justice.

Being insipid doesn't have any value in a person's life. Neither is rudeness or self importance important. Values are very imperative in a person's life. Your character is your life. Protect your character from crisis. Choose to adapt to conformity in order to have a calm and ordered life. Rules are important. They exist to instil a sense of order in society and if they  are there, then they have to be respected  and not be  abused. Every living thing needs a law to grow up well.  We have an agenda to protect our society from avarice and all mean traits posted around by people within. We therefore urge you to be right thinking members of society with consciousness  and alertness. See a stone as a stone and not a piece of metal in a round shape.

THERMOSTAT FLIP SIDE: WEIGHT OF IGNORANCE

After focusing on the murky conditions on moral decadence and marriage, today I would like to extrapolate the society and make out what is simmering underneath. Off matters ignorance and under performance in our country and crane my neck to see how the society thinks and rates itself. I f you're in this part of Africa and more so be a resident in Kenya, then you must be tempted to think that Kenya rears and breeds a failing generation. 


The national results were recently released to the chagrin of many. Students and parents alike were dumbfounded and weaned.  Some have taken their displeasure too far and endangered their lives. Others thought that was too much and ended their lives watching. Super majority are coming to terms with the facts that they will not have a chance to proceed forward to the next level. There is a looming rude shock of failing to attain the required cut off marks to bridge ahead. The little one with their small mind and ages don't know what to do with their lives. Pressure is mounted heavily on their lives as they look like the infamous black sheep in society. The fact that out of the total number of more than seven hundred thousands who sat for the national exam, only a palty forty eight percent will proceed forward is a hard fact to live with. Fifty two percent failed the exam. Our bone of contagion is not about pupil failing their basic level exams but rather the bedrock of education system in our current society. 


Children are the reflection of the society. If therefore our country can bring forth school going pupils who cannot read and understand fully after eight years of going through a curriculum, honestly, what does all these translate in terms of society and its education system? Who is the failure of another? Whereas we can point several corners as a cause for our children's failure, we must also admit that an apple does not fall too far from the tree. The community too is ingrained with long time ignorance and foolishness. There exist some level of lazyness and little emphasis placed on nature of performance. Lackluster kills many a parents and breeds in a Kenyan. They want things to be accomplished with zero bank on integrity and excellence. The funny quarter being that, even modern day preachers have bought into the weakness and them too preach half- hearted sermons that have more damage than value.


There exist great responsibility crisis  shift in society and people rarely take commitment to admit mistakes and injustices and settle for requisite solutions that angle well with the atrocities. The best that parents can do when their children paste dismal performance is to attack the teachers both verbally and physically. This nature of attempt in dealing with problems is highly misplaced and baffling on equal wavelength. Pursuing heads and beating the silly upfront is disrespect of high order. Despite being debilitating, it is not the vocal point of the solution. Real nagging and pressing matter should be addressed by all cost. These Prevaricating heads must learn to use common sense even if it is not common.  


Attach the ignorance embedded in our society amongst people not the associated affiliates. Society needs to come to terms with its rottenness and seek laudable, proven professional ways of solving problems. Let the country be serious and do away with this hide and seek childish methods and give us a competent, credible system of education. The weight of ignorance is too heavy to carry. An ignorant country is a gripped nation. The level of ignorance is high and consuming fast more lives than the dreaded HIV/AIDS related cases. The society being you and I, let us choose to elevate our level of knowledge and stop third grade colonization of mind.

Humanity amongst all creations has been the one mainly found off line almost regularly. He is portrayed as a difficult creation who has a hard time keeping instructions. On several occasions, he has been found indulging and embroiled in self centeredness  and selfish vests seeking to promote self and his agendas forgetting who first found who and why who was created and his role in life.

In regard to this notion, know that your life has a purpose. We exist for a reason. Our relevance in life is not about fronting our interests. It is about bringing our life to understand and make it submit to a certain power that can instill self control and a sense of direction. Man on his own is weak and prone to mistakes. We are a creation with short memory. Beat your averageness by leaning and feeding your soul and mind on right content that can help you see things as they appear. Be a conscious person and learn to listen. Someone up there is on the lookout, remember that when you meet on the wrong path, justice will be meted in the right measure.

Secure your life by focusing on God. Do a bit of bible study. You only know him and represent him well if you understand and know him better, Don't be careless, elevate yourself from being average in reading the bible.

TIP ON TIME MANAGEMENT;

Time and again has proven that the best way to control your time is to own it in your own hands. Split your day into hours and your hours into minutes. Face your day in every step of your minutes. Script your day and account for what every minute of your hour is spent on. Drop list your schedule of what to do on a day. Always plan your day on the previous night. Sleep knowing what you will start your day with first thing when you set your foot in the office. Today we have our secret tip on time management from 'millionaire's time management.'  We have none other than Mr. Donald Trump and his lead lawyer George Ross who learned the tip from the boss.

Here is the trick from Ross, " Get a simple notebook and carry it around for the next three days. Break the page up into fifteen minute blocks and write down what you are doing each day at those times."

There we go, if your day starts at eight, this is how those blocks should look like in your notebook;

8:00 a.m

8: 15 a.m

8: 45 a.m

9: 00 a.m etc

The trick here is to find out time wasters and effective use of time. Doing such habit can perfectly help you become a good time manager. Get into the drill don't just read, real change lies in action. Enjoy the practice.

MORAL RATINGS: WHO STOLE DECENCY?

The moral checkups continues after focusing on marriage in our last article. Today we would like to upbraid the licentiousness within our midsts and ask a reasonable question as of, what is wrong with the society? We will scale it down and talk to you personally as an individual. When you walk around with those unchecked manners, what the heck is your problem? Don't you know that you have something within you that is wanting? Remember, society is formed by you and I. Which therefore means that, if we are experiencing incivility and moral breakdown, therefore that signifies the people. Individuals inside the community are loose, selfish and uncaring thereby giving forth a hunched and hampered society with a remarkable record of moral decadence.

What we used to know as norms and societal values are highly stumbled on. Everything today is so dilute. It is very difficult to find a correct image in our contemporary world. Growing children are picking up practices from their peers that are ram shackled and getting accustomed to them as the right way. So when our children grows up with corrupted minds; what do we think as a society are we doing? Do we want to boldly tell them that what they are embracing is okay and befitting for their future? Why ingenuousness in us? or do we lack what to impart? Should we not talk about these issues? Why are the concerned party quiet and looking busy? Whereas we decry the illness within our environment, it is so distraught to note that a big number of some parents and older members of society are the chief contributors in spoiling and driving the society in its hindsight. It is so funny and saddening at the same time to say that a number of parents are insipid and limited themselves.

Time and again we have said that people should take time and put in considerable effort in their parenting skills and question whether they are ready for such a task. We cannot continuously grow and tend a precarious generation that don't understand the value of principles. At one point we as a people should become tired of the weirdness we commit and choose to pose, look back and aspire to change. Let us think of restoring back sanity and decency.

According to the findings of our thermostat, last year saw a record high of moral crimes. We experienced a lot of rape cases, defilement cases, sodomy, and all nature of sexual abuses here and there. The named vicious acts not only occurred almost all over, but also took a divergent move and reared its ugly head into unlikely quarter. We were rocked and treated to torturous images of nauseating cases of rape and sexual immorality even to the pulpit. How about that; do you think that is an interesting scenario? If church a once trusted place was attacked, then what are we left with as members of this society? Where did our respect and self control go to?  We took our eccentric nature to far. The chronic nature of moral breakdown in our modern life is so worrying and terrific.  I don't know when people will learn to slow down and think about sanity and rebuild the walls. This kind of trend that a people are getting comfortable with putting in mind the shift in character is so wide and the moral pit might just become too much homework and deep enough for us to fill in future times.  Let us dare the thief who stole our decency to return our morality. If possible, can we catch those thieves if we know them and warn them of their bad practices and how they are depreciating the standard of our society? Decency must be maintained at whatever cost, its success is about you and I. Let us do something towards cleaning our society.

MORAL RATINGS IN THE EYES OF TWENTY ELEVEN.

It is fifty seven hours since we welcomed the new year and we here, would like to recognize the presence of the new year and wish you a diligent and competent twenty twelve. In the past year that is just behind our backyard, we set out our moral thermostat to let it record the temperatures of our society and what ails its moral precinct. We checked it recently and found the recordings. Before we empty it to the brand new year, let us look back at twenty eleven and talk about its ugly heads and faces.


Marriage being a universal practice and one endorsed by our maker, experienced a rough time and registered sickening performance. Despite being accorded such high value, it was abused and misused by the society. Its wall were shaken, curtains torn and the foundation cracked. People walked in and out as if it was a public auditorium. Others took it as a guinea pig and set their experiments to ascertain whether they have the right specifications to integrate with, and when they understood that all was not well, they scampered and forgot the terms and conditions of this quarter. 


The lunatics entered the pact, the foolish too walked in and so was the ignorant. All these groups infuriated the institution and thought they hadn't done anything wrong and therefore went away silently. Some failed to read the signs from their counterparts and them too picked the wrong path. When they failed to get what they expected, all we could hear was loathsome stories of anguish and disappointment. Some were seriously hurt and contemplated suicidal escapees. On an accentuated note, others ran out of solutions and sought help. While a super majority on the basis of chagrin chose to keep quiet and learned to cope despite knowing too well that they will never find complacency and any kind of contentment they were looking forward to. Our thermostat recorded and signposted marriage as one area where scuffles and botched homework existed. People associated with this category know very little about it yet they expect to make things right.


It is very unfortunate that we are reporting on the negative angle of marriage. We too are not mesmerized about it. But that is what we found out while doing our assignment. We cannot and will not shy away from this matter but rather speak the truth and oust you where possible. Marriage is profound and and founded on the grounds of discipline, values, and principles. The founder of this institution who designed, thought and established such a thing as marriage had different reasons as opposed to what many individuals act on.

This is a field that needs to be respected and honored on its own right. It is a classified affair with only a few qualified people making the cut. It wasn't meant for all and sundry. Humanity must stop these abuses and injustices orchestrated towards marriage and instead take time to appreciate and understand it to know its in depth, and why we have marriage in our domain. Marriage is a regal issue with deep contract under its neck. It is commonly linked to Holy of holies in our bible, and we all know that not everyone is allowed to access the secluded area. We have specific people to oversee and partake such duties and events, and those who don't meet the criteria should remain behind and wait for their right moment.


Cases of fornication and adultery are rife. And it is to such people that we would like to address and warn to cease acting on selfish interest and learn to take the correct path and steer away from short cuts. Young persons must stop their sensual appetites and learn to slow down and respect themselves, bodies and the institution. Those already in marriage must fathom the reason why they are married and stop hovering around like stray dogs. We are hurting something we didn't initiate and institute. Remember, it was meant to be a gift and therefore shouldn't misuse special gestures extended to you. Control your feelings and choose knowledge to grow up well. That was last year, let us await what the new has in store for us. As we integrate with the changing times, all we can advocate for from this corner is that people should style up and discipline their feelings.
